Hip opening and core strengthening with flying lizard variations

This class has a moderately paced flow and is most suitable if you’ve been practicing for a little while.


We start and end with a guided journey through the body to release surface tension, and invite presence. Then we explore standing poses with an emphasis on opening the hips and strengthen the core, and mix in backbends, twists and seated poses on our way towards arm balances, including variations of firefly – tittibhasana – and flying lizard.


Options and modifications for all levels are included.
