Gentle flow and restore – safety, satisfaction, connection – part3

We conclude the 3 part series exploring our basic needs and will talk about connection. We need connection – we are social creatures, we have a deep desire to connect: from feeling seen, liked, supported to feeling worthy and loved. We take care of this need by being in touch with others (attaching to others).

Relationships with others form a substantial way of validating our views and opinions and forming our personality. Being there for others and truly listening and relating to them increases our own happiness and wellbeing. And even if our connections to others bring up problems – like in difficult relationships – this is one of the fundamental ways for us to grow.

A gentle and delicious session, moving with the breath, limbering and awakening the whole body. Particular attention to mobilising and waving the spine and a hip stabilising sequence with gate pose (parighasana) variations. Finishing with a couple of restorative poses.
