Gentle flow and restore: alternate nostril breathing, twists, hip openers, restorative

A gentle and delicious session, moving with the breath, limbering and awakening the whole body, finishing with a couple of restorative poses.

The theme for this class is the subtle internal system of the nadis with particular emphasis on Ida and Pingala nadis which represent and encompass all opposing aspects of our being.

We’ll start with a breathing practice to balance Ida and Pingala (nadi shodana / alternate nostril breathing), then move through limbers, twists and hip openers towards a reclining restorative side opener / backbend.
