Forearm variations towards forearm balance – pincha mayurasana

The theme for this class is change and transition.

Physically we work from the inside out limbering the shoulders and then playing with shoulder strength in various forearm dog variations moving towards a single legged forearm balance and eventually forearm stand (pincha mayurasana). We balance this by opening side body and shoulders including a twisting / side opening trikonasana version and lizard.
