We’ll continue our exploration of the 5 elements. In this class we focus particularly on the air element – expansion into the air around us and a gathering and contracting back in, fluid and free movement, and a sense of ease and playfulness.
We’ll combine movements to open the front body – the hip flexors and chest – to progressively deepen into backbends. As counter actions we weave in movements to contract inwards to the centre, forward bend and twist.
This class has a moderately paced flow and is most suitable if you’ve been practicing for a little while.
Options and modifications for all levels are included.
